What is the right version of VSO for me?

Virtual Support Office-XP license scheme is based on the size of your organization. There are mainly two architectures based on the database type: MS Access(c) 2000 and MS SQL(c) 2000.

  • MS-Access 2000 Database Version. This version is designed for a small business which support requests volume is low (50 or less per day) and the technIcal staff or customer support personnel is 5 people of less. This version does not require any additional software purchase. MS-Access version is only available in 5 Agents license.
  • MS-SQL Server 2000 Database Version. This version is designed for medium to enterprise level type of business. Is designed to handle thousands or requests a day and there are no limit on the amount of technical staff (agents). This version requires that you have MS-SQL(c)2000 Server database license. SQL version is available from 5 users upto Unlimited amount of agents.

What is an Agent? VSO-XP architecture includes three access levels; Admin, Staff and Users. Admin & Staff are the accounts level used to administrate the web site and provide the solution to the submitted support requests in other words your support staff members, VSO-XP call this users Agents. Users are the clients requesting support to VSO web site.

 Both version are based on concurrent agent licenses, which means that depending of the amount of agent licenses that you get is the maximum number of staff personnel logged in at the same time however in all cases there is a no limit of the number of users requesting support from your virtual support office.
