VSO-XP Evaluation version do not need additional evaluation license the one distributed with the dowloadable version should automatically adjust to let you evaluate for 20 days from the day you run it the first time, however we have some reports that is generating the "Evaluation Expired" message, the possible cause of this problem is due to any (or both) of these reasons:

1. Application permissions are not set to read/write for IUSR_<machinename>. This is required for the license manager to update the license during the evaluation period. (see installation article in knowldegebase) This condition must be corrected for propert functionality.
2. System (server) date is not standard mm/dd/yyyy format is using different such as dd/mm/yyyy. The license manager is expecting the month date year format to control the expiration. We are working to resolve this issue, on the mean time there are two workaround:
   • Problem can be resolved by temporary (while evaluation is performed) changing the date format on the server to mm/dd/yyyy
