Running VSO-XP Email Server.
Running VSO-XP Email Server.
 VSO-XP Email Server allows the system to send all email notifications and automatic assignments, this application is installed with VSO and must be manually activated the first time.
  1. To activate (run) Click Start > VSO-XP Email Server.
  2. Server icon will appear in icon tray and VSO-XP Server Service Manager will be displayed minimized on the task bar.
  3. Click task bar to make visible Service Manager.
  4. Click the "Auto-start service when OS starts" to automatically run the service when your server is restarted. (Application is run as windows service).
  5. To Setup email interval and Log options right click on the Service Manager Icon and select "Options..." to get the option dialog window.
  6. Change Time Interval as required, it is highly recommended to keep it between 1 and 5 minutes.
  7. Click on Log email server events to help you troubleshoot any email problems you may have, VSOXP_Email.log file will be created in the "bin" directory with a detailed error log.
